A little bit of luck, a little bit of fate...is how Dodger came into Lisa's life.  Dodger started off his life as a trucker's companion.  Living in the cab of a semi.  He ended up in Cavalier rescue, at a time that Lisa's mom was considering adopting a Cavalier.  Although Dodger was intended to be Paula's companion, he ended up being a bit too much dog for her kitties.   So Dodger moved in with Lisa and Bandit. (We all secretly hoped he would come live with Lisa, and be her next little agility star) Dodger just adores Lisa...as well as his Grandma Paula, who spoils him rotten!!!
